Key Responsibilities
- Performs fermentation, maturation processing duties, beer transfers, dry hopping, vessel cleanings, cellar checks, CIP operation and yeast handling
- Responsible for the handling of raw materials, including ingredients and RTD flavors
- Teamwork with Brewing & Processing and Packaging team members for seamless product flow
- Works diligently to avoid product or raw material loss/waste and reduce effluent
- Performs quality checks in accordance with our quality control program
- Maintains all production areas to the highest hygienic standards
- Works in accordance with company health and safety, and food safety policies always
- Performs accurate and timely data entry and record keeping
- Meets established production plans and timelines as per brewing schedule
- Engages in team building and continuous improvement opportunities
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Curiosity and passion for the brewing and beverage industry, passion to win, passion to grow
- Previous experience working in a similar role; food and beverage industry experience is considered an asset
- Understand the importance of hygiene, housekeeping, and sanitation, and is excited to play an important role in supporting a clean and safe production environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekend, and holiday hours
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, and an ability to work well both independently and as part a team
- Affinity to a diverse team that enjoys their work environment and celebrates success
- Appetite to cross train and evolve through opportunities across the supply chain
- Ability to lift up to 25kg on a regular basis, standing, climbing, bending, and walking
Brunswick Bierworks is focused on innovation & growing amazing brands through flawless execution. Our FSCC 22000, Organic, Gluten-free and Kosher -certified facility is state-of-the-art, with an open concept brewery, fully automated brewhouse for production, while our 20 hl pilot brewing system can be utilized for recipe development, one-off brews, and smaller batches’, seasonal beers. We have small scale packaging, including all can formats and party keg filling, and in 2022, we invested in state-of-the-art blending and packaging equipment from Krones with filling speeds of up to 1100 cpm.
